Tarek Zeid is a telecom executive with 20+ years of experience in digital transformation, product development, and global business growth. He joined Rakuten Mobile Japan in 2019 to establish and lead its international wholesale business, building a multi-million-dollar portfolio from scratch. He later expanded operations globally from Singapore and supported 1&1 Germany in launching its international connectivity services. Tarek is the creator of the award-winning “Roaming 360” platform and has been named twice to the ROCCO 100 list of top industry leaders. In 2024, he and his team won the Antonio Meucci Global Awards for top telco performance, and in 2025, he filed a patent in AI. He holds a Computer Science degree and an MBA in Marketing.
