Louisiana farmer's daughter. Brought internet, early encryption technology to teacher's unions, environmental activist, & political prisoners in Mexico and Honduras. Conducted consumer research for Ralph Nader on patent law & redlining. Tackled social issues through policy advocacy and exposed sweatshop conditions in Vietnam through CorpWatch. Designed & developed one of the first open source CMS systems Bricolage for Salon, later taking it to Robert Cailliau at CERN in Switzerland. which Created the Digital Office for WHO where I decentralized the collection of country health data, leading to my work with Hans Rosling's GapMinder/Google.org, Partners in Health with Paul Farmer, and early Web3 protptypes. The WHO’s website was the first to be published in all 6 official UN languages simultaneously, HIV/AIDS, Pandemic Influenza, Security, SE Tsunami, SARS. Rolled out country-wide skills training for local staff.
