Robert Lee has spent 28 years in senior wholesale roles at Colt, Verizon, Tata Communications, Sky, T-Mobile, Cogent, Telecom Italia Sparkle, euNetworks, and Worldcom.

He is the founder of Panoptes Intelligence, a verified compliance registry addressing one of telecoms' most persistent gaps: the absence of evidence-grade compliance visibility across carriers, MSPs, and their supply chains. Panoptes replaces the thousands of bilateral, unverifiable documents currently exchanged across the industry with a single, independently-verified compliance profile, hash-anchored to a tamper-evident ledger, addressing obligations under the Telecommunications Security Act, NIS2, DORA, and the UK's incoming Cyber Security and Resilience Bill.

Robert has had published a Cross-Domain Resilience white paper series in Digital Forensics Magazine and speaks on network security and regulatory resilience at industry events including the Resilience Association Summit. He also runs LeeWave Consultancy, advising telecoms, investment and infrastructure organisations on commercial strategy, market entry and investment opportunities.
