Peter Coppens is the Vice President Infrastructure & Connectivity Products and Solutions at Colt Technology Services.

In this role, Peter is responsible for driving success for customers through Infrastructure and Connectivity products and solutions that solve their challenges, while enabling profitable growth for Colt. This team combines the strength of the Product, Sales Engineering, Partnership and Sales Specialist organisations to drive the product line P&L. Peter has been with Colt for 25 years, most recently holding the role of Vice President Product Portfolio, where he was responsible for the Product Strategy, Product Management and Product Development of the Colt portfolio globally. He and his team are leading Colt’s transformation towards emerging Software Defined Networking, driving amongst others success of NaaS and API-based consumption services.

Peter has more than 27 years of experience in digital services and telecoms, spanning roles in product management, pricing & commercial, business development, product marketing and strategy. Prior to Colt, he was with Global One and Alcatel Bell labs. Peter holds a Masters in Electronical Engineering and Telecommunications from the VUB, University of Brussels, Belgium.
