Kirsty Bashforth

Chief People & Culture Officer, Delinian
Kirsty Bashforth is Chief People & Culture Officer at Delinian Trading Ltd – a portfolio of businesses owned by PE firm, Epiris. She developed her core expertise in change leadership, organisational culture and behavioural economics through a generalist commercial career, having worked in the UK, US, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium, UAE and across many industries including energy, construction, education and in health. 
Her prior exec role before Delinian was as Chief Business Officer at global renal care provider, Diaverum AB.
Kirsty is author of Culture Shift (Bloomsbury, 2019), and before running her own culture and change business (Quayfive Ltd), spent 24 years at bp plc in global commercial roles from oil trader to chief of staff, culminating in leading the 5-year culture reset of the company following the Deepwater Horizon accident in 2010.
Kirsty has been a Non-Executive Director for the last 12 years, including Kier Group plc (where she chaired the Safety, Health & Environment committee), Diaverum AB (where she chaired the Remuneration committee), Ashville College, Leeds Beckett University and the Dubai-based GEMS Education (chair of both remuneration and ethics committees) and was also Chair of Northern Superchargers Ltd (UK cricket franchise) 2023-2025.
She is currently sitting on the board of Serco Group plc since September 2017 (chair of Corporate Responsibility Committee) and PZ Cussons plc (chair of the Remuneration Committee, Non-Executive Director for Employee Voice) since November 2019.
