Telecoms and Technology Correspondent

Kieran Smith is the Financial Times' telecoms and tech correspondent based in London. He covers European and some US telcos, in addition to technology issues such as food delivery, dating apps, UK startups and cybersecurity.

He joined the Financial Times as a Marjorie Deane fellow, and worked in Westminster as a political aide to an MP before pivoting to journalism.
