Josep Martí, a Telecom Engineer, is the co-founder and CEO of Nearby Computing, a company developing an orchestration and automation platform for modern networks, designed to be convergent, use-case oriented, hybrid, and massively distributed. A stubborn entrepreneur, this is the third company he has co-founded. Besides some initial roles as a network architect, he also spent more than ten years in several roles in the Public Administration in Barcelona, Spain, where he led the development of technology-based projects and policies. As an example, he played a senior role within the team that convinced the GSMA to move the Mobile World Congress from Cannes to Barcelona.
