Brad Kneller
Brad is the Chief Network Officer at FLAG. He is responsible for setting and overseeing the company’s global network strategy, ensuring the continued performance, resilience and scalability of FLAG’s extensive subsea and terrestrial infrastructure. With a clear focus on long-term vision and operational excellence, Brad plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s network architecture and delivering solutions that meet the evolving demands of hyperscalers, carriers and enterprise customers worldwide. Brad first joined the business in 2008, when it operated as GCX, and spent the next ten years helping to build and manage one of the world’s largest privately owned subsea cable systems. In 2018, he left GCX to join Aqua Comms as Senior Vice President of Operations & Engineering. He returned to GCX in 2021, ahead of its transformation into FLAG, to support a renewed phase of investment, modernisation and growth. Over the course of his career, Brad has held senior leadership positions at organisations including Global Crossing, and NTL, and brings more than 25 years of experience in network engineering, submarine infrastructure and telecoms operations.
